Find answers to common questions about solar energy in Nigeria.

Solar costs range from ₦1.5M for a basic 3.5kVA setup suitable for a 2-bedroom flat, to ₦8M+ for commercial systems. We offer free site surveys for accurate quotes based on your specific needs, and flexible payment plans to make solar accessible to every budget.

Yes! With the right system size and battery storage, solar can completely replace your generator. Our hybrid inverter systems work with both solar and grid power, and battery storage ensures you have power through the night. We design systems to match your specific power needs for full 24/7 coverage.

Absolutely. With diesel prices constantly rising (currently ₦800-₦1,200/litre), most solar systems pay for themselves within 18-36 months. After that, your electricity is essentially free for 25+ years. Plus, you eliminate generator noise, maintenance costs, and fuel runs.

Solar can power everything your generator can — and more! This includes air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, TVs, lights, fans, computers, water heaters, and more. The key is sizing the system correctly for your total power needs.

Yes! We offer: (1) Outright purchase — best value, one-time payment. (2) 6-12 month installment plans with 0% interest on select plans. (3) Bank financing up to 24 months through our partner banks. Contact us to discuss the best option for your budget.

Our system prices include: the inverter, solar panels, batteries, mounting hardware, cabling, installation labour, system commissioning, and customer training. There are no hidden fees. The only additional cost may be custom electrical work if your property requires it.

Depending on your current generator fuel costs, most systems pay for themselves in 18-36 months. For example, if you spend ₦150,000/month on diesel, a ₦2.8M system pays for itself in about 19 months. After that, your power is practically free.

Residential installations typically take 1-3 days. The full process from initial survey to power-on takes 5-10 business days, including: Day 1-2 (survey and design), Day 3-6 (equipment procurement and delivery), Day 7-9 (installation), Day 10 (commissioning and handover).

Yes! We serve all 36 states and the FCT. Our headquarters is in Ilorin, Kwara State, with installation teams covering Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano, Ibadan, and 15+ other cities. For remote locations, we coordinate with local partners.

Most Nigerian roofs are suitable for solar. We install on: corrugated iron/zinc roofing, concrete flat roofs, and aluminium roofs. During our free site survey, we assess your roof condition, orientation, and available space to design the optimal panel layout.

Solar systems are very low maintenance. We recommend: (1) Monthly visual inspection of panels for dust/debris. (2) Quarterly panel cleaning with water and soft cloth. (3) Annual professional system check (included free in the first year). Your inverter will also alert you to any issues via its display or app.

Solar panels still generate power from diffused light on cloudy days — typically 30-50% of their rated output. Battery storage ensures continuous power overnight and during extended cloud cover. Our systems are designed to account for seasonal variations in Nigerian weather patterns.

Hybrid inverters work with both solar panels and the utility grid. When solar and battery are insufficient, the inverter automatically switches to grid power. Off-grid systems operate independently without any grid connection. We recommend hybrid systems for most Nigerian homes as they provide maximum flexibility.

System size depends on your total power consumption. As a rule of thumb: 2-bedroom flat → 3.5kVA, 3-bedroom house → 5kVA, Duplex → 10kVA, Office/Commercial → 15kVA+. For an accurate assessment, use our free System Recommender tool or book a free site survey.

Quality monocrystalline solar panels last 25-30 years with minimal degradation (0.5-0.8% per year). Our panels come with 25-year performance warranties. Lithium batteries typically last 10-15 years (6,000+ charge cycles), and inverters last 10-15 years.

We provide comprehensive warranties: Solar Panels — 25 years performance warranty. Lithium Batteries — 10 years. Inverters — 5-10 years (manufacturer warranty). Workmanship — 2 years. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects and performance guarantees, not physical damage.

Our warranty covers: manufacturing defects in all components, performance degradation beyond guaranteed levels, inverter and battery failures under normal use, and workmanship issues with our installation. It does not cover: physical damage (storms, accidents), unauthorized modifications, or failure to perform recommended maintenance.
